Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your OpenMicList account at any time. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets removed, and what we keep.

How to request deletion

Send an email from the address linked to your OpenMicList account, with the subject line “Delete my OpenMicList account”, to manuel.carbonell.nunez@gmail.com. You can also click the button below to open a pre-filled email.

Email a deletion request

We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a written confirmation once it is done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record (name and email received from Google Sign-in, profile picture URL).
  • Your push notification tokens, so we stop sending you notifications.
  • Your event signups.
  • Your reviews and ratings.
  • Any photos you uploaded.

What may be kept

Venue listings you submitted may remain in the public directory in an anonymised form, because they describe public places, not personal information. Server logs (request paths and IP addresses) are kept for up to 30 days and then rotated out automatically. We may retain a record of the deletion request itself to demonstrate compliance.

Not sure if you have an account?

If you have never signed in with Google on OpenMicList, you do not have an account on our side. Browsing the directory does not create one. Push notifications, location, and cookies can still be cleared from your device settings.
